I'm thrilled to share that I'm kicking off 2020 with a new work I'm really passionate about - For the Love of Friends!
In 1986, Brent Nicholson Earle began The American Run for the End of AIDS a 20- month, 9000-mile run around the United States and parts of Canada. In 2020, Brent tells his story on stage in an autobiographical relay with artists from the worlds of theater, opera and dance.
Written by Brent Nicholson Earle and director Cara Consilvio, For the Love of Friends weaves together vivid interviews, first-hand accounts and diary entries to tell an urgent and inspiring story of action in the face of a crisis.
I feel very lucky to be working with such a talented ensemble - that includes Brent himself! - and to be telling such an important story right now.
For the Love of Friends has a three-performance run at the West End Theatre at Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew with two evening performances on January 24 and 25 (@ 8:00 PM) and a matinee on Sunday, January 26 (@2:00 PM).Tickets are available at: https://fortheloveoffriends.bpt.me.
